The Executive Leadership Team at Demilec

At Demilec, our Executive Leadership Team is made up of highly trained professionals who are qualified in diverse areas, equipped with many years of experience, and have specialized skills and knowledge in their respective disciplines. This team ensures all processes and projects are streamlined from start to finish using advanced sciences, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to develop coating and spray foam insulation products.

Demilec was founded in Boisbriand, Quebec in a high-tech facility, which housed the global company’s R&D operations. An additional manufacturing plant and modern laboratories are located in Arlington, Texas. This newer structure is designed to supply all of the northeastern United States market while Demilec Canada covers the entirety of the Canadian market.


Paul Valle

President and CEO of Demilec, Paul Valle, is backed by over 25 years of experience working with construction products and manufacturing industries. Over the years, he has gained the knowledge and skills necessary to improve operational functionalities, quality, and drive cost competitiveness in order to promote greater customer satisfaction. Before Demilec, Valle served as the President of Silver Line Building Products. During his time there, he launched a number of new products, increased the sales of new products, increased sales of construction products, and improved the company’s profit margin. Prior to his time at Silver Line Building Products, Valle was the President of CertainTeed Corporation’s Insulation Group. During his time with the company, he successfully navigated the team through a construction market slowdown.


Jacques Larivière

Jacques Larivière has been Demilec's owner since 1986. In 2009, he was recognized as a Quebec Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year." Since then, he has played a critical role in Demilec’s Executive Leadership Team. Knowledgeable and passionate about environmental awareness, Larivière acts as a strategic advisor to the team and the larger community. He is regarded as the pioneer of renewable foam insulation and recyclables.


Dan Clayton

Backed by over three-and-a-half decades of experience in the spray foam industry, Dan Clayton, the Vice President of Sales in Canada, brings extensive knowledge and skills to Demilec. In 2000, Clayton founded a company called Polyurethane Foam Systems Inc. (PFSI) with only two other employees. Not too long after, Demilec acquired PFSI. Clayton became a dedicated member of Demilec’s Executive Leadership Team. For the past 25 years, Clayton has served as a member of the Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association and has been a member of the Board of Directors for over 13 years.


Elizabeth Lalli-Reese

Elizabeth Lalli-Reese is the General Manager of Demilec Quebec as well as the Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management at Demilec. Along with 14 years of progressive experience, Elizabeth’s educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Christian University and a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law. Prior to joining Demilec, Elizabeth worked in positions of increasing scope and responsibility within risk management, human resources, and operations. Prior to joining Demilec in 2014, Elizabeth was Vice President of Human Resources with EMSI, a risk management company.


Douglas Brady​

Douglas Brady brings over 17 years of experience to Demilec. With expertise in the areas of marketing, operations, and sales, Brady serves as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing. Before joining the team, Brady worked as the Director of the High Performance Coatings and Foam at Graco. He continued his career at Houston Wire and Cable, where he moved into the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Before committing his life to the industry, Brady attended Carnegie Mellon University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and his M.B.A. Brady has also served as a United States Naval Officer.


Thomas Harris

Backed by more than 35 years of experience, Thomas Harris serves as Demilec’s Vice President of Building Science and Innovation. Over the years, he has acquired extensive knowledge regarding polyurethane foam products and the industry throughout the United States and Canada. Harris' experience provides the foundation for the Building Science Group and the technical development teams. Before joining Demilec, he worked as a development chemist at Huntsman and BASF, and managed various areas, including sales, technical, business, and marketing.Harris most recently worked on the Blowing agent team at Honeywell, where he served in a development leadership role for the business.


Kyle Kolde

Kyle Kolde, Vice President and CFO, brings to Demilec more than 20 years of finance and executive leadership experience from General Electric, Johns Manville (Berkshire Hathaway), and Lhoist/ Chemical Lime Company. He has a proven track record growing businesses through a keen focus on commercial markets, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and cost management. Kyle has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from University of Cincinnati, MBA from Texas A&M University, and is Certified Public Accountant.


François Lalande

Francois brings more than 30 years of experience in the building industry to Demilec. Currently, he serves as the Building Science Director, Sales manager in addition to managing the customer service department. For over 18 years, he has been leading the building code conformity, energy efficiency, building envelope, and research and development projects. He is a member of various committees, such as: CAN/ULC Insulation Committee, Quebec Building Envelope Council, and the CUFCA Technical Committee.


Michel L’Ecuyer

With over two decades of experience, Michel L’Ecuyer brings expert knowledge and skills to the sales and market development department of Demilec. Before joining the team, L’Ecuyer worked as the Sales Director of the Quebec market and helped increase consumer service processes. A passionate member of the industry, he plays a key role in the success of Demilec. Currently, he is a member of various internal companies and serves as a director at CUFCA Quebec.


Mario Charlebois

Equipped with over 25 years of experience, Mario Charlebois is a highly skilled chemist at Demilec. Currently, he conducts extensive of research in order to improve the development and quality control of the company’s projects.
