Safety Tip - Hazard Communication

Posted By DEMILEC || 29-Feb-2012

In the Spray Foam environment, it is imperative that you know and understand the importance of communicating hazard safety practices. In the event of an accident, action should be taken immediately with the knowledge of knowing how to react accordingly.

Typical MSDS documents should include any chemical inside your foam rig, solvents, cleaners, grease, plasticizers, hydraulic fluid, type of fuel, and anything else that could be considered hazardous to your health or to the environment. These documents should be readily available at all times. We encourage you to keep a wall mounted MSDS station that can be accessed easily. Such documents should also be placed inside vehicles as well as stored on your computers.
